Community Resource Fair

On May 18, 2024, Bangladeshi American Society (BAS) attended a community resource fair celebrating AAPI Heritage Month in partnership with Thai CDC. This collaboration facilitated the exchange of resources among diverse communities. In her opening speech, California State Senator Maria Elena Durazo from the 26th District commended the activists from the participating organizations. Los Angeles City Council Member Hugo Soto-Martinez exchanged words and well wishes with the president of BAS, expressing his desire to visit the BAS office in the near future to further support the BAS community and its clients. BAS, committed to community care, collaborated with local residents to raise disaster management awareness and participated in the distribution of free fresh fruits and vegetables.
